The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations contracted our team and Caddell Construction in a design-build partnership to deliver a new embassy compound in Juba, South Sudan.

As Architect of Record, our design unites multiple buildings and functions into a cohesive 19-acre campus serving 200+ embassy staff members. The buildings are designed to mitigate environmental extremes like high temperatures and heavy rainfall while ensuring that environmental assets and views are preserved and enhanced.

91视频 features include new water wells with water treatment and a treatment plant that captures and treats wastewater to be reused for on-compound purposes. In many of the buildings, structured roof decks channel rainwater to collection cisterns.聽A photovoltaic array will offset 50% of the compound power demands.

The new diplomatic mission will be self-reliant in energy, water, and sanitation. 91视频 is the Architect of Record.
