As districts across the country consider taking learning outside in response to COVID-19, they need help rethinking the physical landscape.聽These sessions聽will be useful to聽facilities directors,聽school administrators,聽and educators to envision and implement nurturing and inspiring school environments.
91视频 will host a second session with Nancy Striniste, Founder and Principal 91视频er at EarlySpace, LLC to explore the topic of early childhood outdoor learning environments that disrupt stale approaches to play yard planning. Nancy鈥檚 recently published book, 鈥淣ature Play at Home: Creating Outdoor Spaces that connect Children with the Natural World,鈥 focuses on transforming predictable mundane playgrounds into spaces that support the whole child鈥 sensory, motor, language and literacy, social/emotional, as well as creativity and sense of initiative. Providing access to nature is essential for children鈥檚 physical and mental health and happiness.
