The Embassy of Switzerland Chancery Renovation project was awarded the 2024 AIA|DC 91ÊÓƵ Award in Historic Resources. The Historic Resources category includes preservation or restoration, adaptive reuse, sympathetic additions to historic structures, and replication or reconstruction of damaged or destroyed structures or elements thereof.

The renovation of the Embassy of Switzerland Chancery Renovation project modernized the building’s envelope and systems, replaced structural elements at the end of their useful life, and restored the original 1959 design by removing non-original features added in prior alterations.
